Betty J Cesarz, age 79, December 28, 2018, of Garden City. Beloved wife of the late Raymond. Loving mother of Kenneth (Ginger), James, Michael (Carol) and Bonnie (Gust) Kostalas. Dear grandmother of Christopher, Samantha, Emily, Victoria, Mary, Joseph, Kelly and Mikalah. Great grandmother of Melody. Sister of JoAnn (Orville) VanCuran, Judy Conn and Barbara Naz. She was preceded in death by her siblings Eugene Homak and Marion Carpenter. Betty was an avid pigeon flyer. She also enjoyed playing the lottery, going to the casino and trying her luck at other gambling. Betty was a big sports fan, particularly liking the Tigers, Red Wings, and U of M Football. Visitation Sunday from 2-9pm at the RG & GR Harris Funeral Home, 31551 Ford Rd., Garden City. A Rosary will be said at 7pm on Sunday. Funeral mass will take place on Monday at 9:30am (instate at 9am) at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 31530 Beechwood, Garden City.
