Audrone Hoeschele

Audrone V. Hoeschele (1944-2023), age 79.

Born to Regina and Algirdas Vaitiekaitis in Kaunas, Lithuania, on May 25, 1944 and is survived by her husband, James D. Hoeschele, and a younger brother, Arunas Vaitiekaitis. In 1944, she escaped to Germany with her parents fleeing the soviet occupation of Lithuania. In 1951, the family moved to Detroit, Michigan, where she attended grade school in Detroit, and then college at Wayne State University, obtaining a B.A. in Psychology and later a M.A. in Library Science. She was employed by Parke-Davis Pharmaceutical Company for many years until early 2000. Audrone was an active member of the Lithuanian Girl Scouts, sang in the church choir of Divine Providence Lithuanian Catholic Church and was active both in the Church parish and the community. She was married to James D. Hoeschele for 36 years. She died from the effects of Alzheimer's Disease on June 10, 2023. She was a wonderful person and will be dearly missed by her family.

A visitation will be held at Divine Providence Catholic Church, 25335 W. 9 Mile Rd., Southfield, MI. Friday, June16, 2023 from 9:30 am until her Funeral Service at 10:30 AM.
