Audrey H. Harkins Age 86, July 2, 2017, of Livonia. Beloved wife of the late Earl “Chuck”. Loving mother of Donald, Michael, the late Patrick (Patricia), and Terry (Melinda). Dear grandmother of Timothy, Kevin, Peter, Christopher, Michelle, Laura, Danielle and Addison. Great grandmother of Brianna, Landon, Jordan and Will. Sister of Judy (the late Leon) Glowicki. Audrey was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Although Audrey's formal career was "Mom" and "Grandma", she took pride in her accomplishments as an artist as well. As a member of VAAL (Visual Arts Assoc. of Livonia). She won many ribbons and awards over the years for her watercolor paintings. She was a member and arts advocate. Audrey was a superb seamstress, played the piano, and held down the home front while her husband was on the road for many years. With many gifts, her greatest joy was how well "her boys" turned out. They were her greatest source of pride. She will be sorely missed by those who called her mom, grandma, sister and friend. Funeral Service Thursday at 1 pm (gathering starting at 12 pm) at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia. Visitation Wednesday from 2 pm until 9 pm.
