Ardis (Ardie) Love. Passed away on April 27, 2020 at the age of 83. in the height of the Covid pandemic and was interred privately at Cadillac Memorial Cemetery. Ardie was the daughter of the late Edwin and Clara Wagstaff, and step daughter of William Wenzel. She attended South-Eastern High School in Detroit and graduated in 1955. Beloved wife of the late Bob for 56 years. They were longtime residents of the city of Fraser. Loving mother to: Lori(Pete) Olarin, Craig (Mary) Love and Karin (Jim) VerVaecke. Cherished and devoted grandmother of Matthew (Jessica), Chelsea (Bryan), Lindsay (Joe), Robert (Kaitlin), Shannon, J.R., Meagan and the late Jared. Loving great-grandmother of Tommy and Charlie. Sweetest sister of Jane Bert, Elaine Jason, Edwin and Kenneth Wagstaff. She was also survived my many nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Ardie will always be remembered as an outgoing person. As a devoted homemaker her entire life, she took great happiness in being with her loving family – most importantly creating special Traditions and sharing them with them all. Attending church was also very important. She will also be remembered as an unselfish and caring person who put family first. Spending time with her family kept her heart happy and full. And in keeping with her outgoing nature- bowling, playing cards, shopping and going to lunch were things she particularly loved and was known to do often. Memorial Donations may be sent in Ardis’ memory to Christ Lutheran Church. A Memorial Service (Celebration of Life) will be held on July 21, 2021 at Christ Lutheran Church 32300 Schoenherr Road, Warren MI 48088 Visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
