Anna Louise Irwin

Anna Louise “Mitzi”(Moese) Irwin Age 88, Passed away peacefully in her Rochester, Michigan home among her family June 1, 2021. Born in Detroit, Michigan on July 19, 1932, to business owner Richard Moese and wife Mildred Moese. Anna grew up on the city’s east side Parkview Drive. Anna, or Mitzi as her close friends would call her, attended Monteith Elementary, University of Liggett, and St. Joseph’s Academy. Anna received a Bachelor of Arts from Siena Heights University in Adrian Michigan. A life long artist—Anna specialized in acrylic and oil, and has created hundreds of pieces representing still life, botanicals and portraits. She was predeceased by her husband, E. Dean Irwin and granddaughter Alexandra Irwin. Anna leaves behind three children: Richard (Roberta) Irwin, Deanna Irwin, Edward “Ted” (Sandra) Irwin and seven wonderful grandchildren. There will be a private memorial service and Memorial Donations may be directed in Anna’s name to American Diabetes Association 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900 Arlington, VA 22202.
