VALENTINE Of Farmington Hills, Michigan, age 97 passed away on April 19th at Hollow Corners Community House in Almont, Michigan. Ann was born in South Range MI in the Keweenaw peninsula on March 20, 1915. Ann was the daughter of Hans and Oliva Kahkola. She was the widow of James K. Valentine, who passed away in 1999. Ann was a licensed real estate agent in Michigan and sold real estate for over 35 years. Ann has one surviving son: Dennis Baranska (Linda). Ann has one surviving sister Jenny Oldford and one brother, Eino Kahkola. She has four grandchildren: Heather Schreiber, Kristen Horn, Jennifer Baranska, and Matthew Baranska and two great grandchildren. Ann lived for the past two years at Freedom Square Apartments in Farmington and had lived for the previous 25 years in Boynton Beach Florida. Ann was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Redford Michigan. Ann will be cremated and a Memorial Service will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Home, 15451 Farmington Rd., Livonia.
