Ann Shepherd

Ann Marie Shepherd, born on July 11th, 1947, passed away on October 22nd, 2023, at the age of 76, surrounded by her loved ones. Ann called Lincoln Park, Michigan, her home, and her presence left a lasting mark on those who knew her.

Ann's heart overflowed with love for her family and friends. She found joy in simple pleasures, such as frequent trips to Frankenmuth, Michigan where she couldn't resist a caramel apple from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Her thoughtfulness extended to bringing delightful gifts from her travels to her friends back home, spreading joy wherever she went.

For over 15 years, Ann served as a compassionate nurses' aide. Her work was not merely a profession but a heartfelt calling. She cared for countless patients and forged deep bonds with her colleagues, creating a supportive work family. Ann had a legendary sweet tooth, her favorite indulgence being Krispy Kreme donuts. She found delight in the occasional action movie and Disney World documentaries, nurturing her youthful spirit.

Ann was preceded in passing by her dear mother, Geraldine Sukarukoff, and her beloved daughter, Debi (Mike) Bazman. She leaves behind her daughters Cheryl (Ron Ocelnik) Shepherd and Carol (Jon) Rollins, as well as her devoted son-in-law, Mike Bazman. Ann's memory lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Alisha (Denny) Farrer, Erica (Ben) Bazman and Justin (Emily) Bazman. Ann is also remembered by her brothers: the late Dan (Marilyn) Peterson, the late Robert Peterson, and Dale (late Diane) Peterson.

In the quiet flutter of a butterfly's wings, we find the essence of Ann's spirit, gently touching our souls and bringing warmth to our memories. Ann Marie Shepherd will forever remain in our hearts, a beacon of love and kindness, and her legacy will continue to inspire us all.

A viewing to Celebrate Ann's life will be held at the R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Homes, 15451 Farmington Rd, Livonia, Sunday, October 29th,   from 1-4 pm .
