It is with great sorrow we announce the untimely passing of our extraordinary eldest sister and beloved daughter, Amanda Gayle Gosline (Manda Banda, Mandy, Amy G, Goz, Gozzy). Aged 45 years old, resided in Indian River, Michigan and died January 3rd, 2025 in Iowa City, Iowa. Born October 4th, 1979, Amanda lived a life worth understanding, it makes who she was more impressive. We will admire her for what she did, how she did it and how she made you feel when she was with you. Her love, passion for life and her inspiring faith touched the lives of anyone who crossed her path. She was your first friend, your playmate, your confidant, your secret keeper. She fought as hard as she loved and loved as loud as she screamed. She learned something through every hardship she had to overcome and truly enjoyed life with friends and family. She cared for everyone she came into contact with and truly gave you as much as she could, she would care for you in anyway knowing that her charity and love was an image of the Jesus Christ, who she served joyfully and loved so deeply. We will remember her passion and spirit, but most importantly her unashamed love for Jesus Christ and desire to share that love with the world. Amanda joins her father, Conan Gosline, her grandparents, Margaret Henkel, David Henkel, Dulcie Henkel, and Austin Gosline. Survived by her mother, Pamela Bauer, Cherished grandmother, Eleanor Gosline ,her step father, Gerald Bauer, her 5 sisters, Bethany Liptak (Brandon), Cathryne Ferrell (Jon), Kristie Darzins (Chris), Deidra Whitney (Joel), Jamie Sornig (Matt) and 12 nieces and nephews. Amanda, may you find rest in the arms of the Lord and peace that surpasses all understanding. You were meant for far greater things than this world had to offer. Harris Funeral Home in Livonia, Michigan from 1-8 pm, followed by her funeral service at 8 pm. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day…” 2 Timothy 4:7-8 “Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” Revelation 7:15-17
