Alton "Tom" Rice

Beloved husband of the late Yvonne. Loving Father of David (Dana) and Mark (Jenny) Rice. Dear Grandfather of David, Michael, Brian (Logan), Daniel, Brandon (Chloe) and Brianna. Alton was born in Detroit, MI. He graduated from Cooley High School in 1955 and was proud to be voted class President. Later, Alton taught chemistry and biology in Livonia public schools for 30 years. He was also a long-time member of Ward Presbyterian Church. A funeral service will be held at Ward Presbyterian Church, 40000 Six Mile Rd., Northville, Wednesday January 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM with visitation starting at 10 AM.
